This jacket handles my cold morning walk to the subway without any issue.
The loose fit is exactly what I needed. I can layer a chunky sweater underneath and it still looks intentional, not sloppy.
I was on the fence about brown but this deep brown shade is stunning. It pairs with literally everything in my closet, from black jeans to camel trousers. The cotton material feels surprisingly substantial for a puffer.
The jacket looks adorable and the brown color is exactly as shown. My concern is that the puffer filling feels a bit thin for really cold days, like below 30 degrees. For mild winter weather or layering over thicker sweaters it works fine, but I would not rely on it as my only layer in harsh cold.
Wore this to a weekend farmer's market and felt so put together without even trying. The hooded design is casual but the deep brown color keeps it from looking too sporty. Full sleeves are long enough to actually cover my wrists, which is rare.
The lapel hood detail is really cute and different from regular puffer hoods. I wear a medium and it fits with room to move around comfortably. Docking one star only because I wish it came in more colors, but the brown is genuinely beautiful.
